Our first stop will be in Siena: medieval atmosphere and stunning surrounding landscapes make Siena a favorite destination for a vast number of visitors from all over the world. Siena with its monuments and art treasures is considered a world heritage site protected by UNESCO.
Tour continues on to Castello di Monteriggioni, where you will discover a fully intact medieval walled village. The walls include 14 turrets and were built around 1213. Lunch will be served at the castle: an authentic tuscan meal including antipasto, fresh local home made pasta and a delicious local dessert, combined with a fine selection of Chianti wines.
After lunch we reach the gates of San Gimignano, small tuscan hilltown, often called the “Manhattan of Medieval Times” for its tall towers and skyline. Our guests will enjoy a guided tour of the town and will be invited to have a gelato from a top world gelateria.
On our way home we will stop at Piazzale Michelangelo which is considered one of the most romantic spots of Florence.
